After massive success of an event like Kabaddi World Cup, Pakistan is yet again ready to host another star studded event which is its very own brand the PSL. It’s a dream come true for a sports loving nation who is craving to host international stars on their grounds. Talking to media during PSL 2019, chairman PCB Ehsan Mani announces that 5th edition of the league will be completely held in Pakistan as the brand belongs to Pakistani Nation. Now the time has come, stage is set and the action is just few hours away.
A nation craving for sports entertainment is fully supporting this event, cities are throwing a look of a bride about to marry and roads are decorated with Pena flex and huge boards of international and local cricket stars.
Cricket lovers are very much excited about the event and the level of their love for the league can be seen on the ticket counters where miles of long ques are made and people are waiting for their tickets. PSL management has announced that the tickets for first 3 matches are completely sold out and they are hoping a jam packed crowed not only in opening ceremony but in rest of the games too.
This year 4 cities got lucky to host PSL matches namely Lahore, Multan, Karachi and Rawalpindi. The security plan and traffic diversion strategy has been made from security and local government officials. Talking to media, deputy commissioner of Rawalpindi said: “we are honored to be in the list of hosting cities for PSL matches. Our energetic and well trained officers are fully confident and prepared. We will definitely provide our guests a full proof security and with the help of Allah, we will surely make it happen without any misadventure.”
Now the wait is about to over and the world is once again about to see how safe and secure Pakistan is for any kind of sports.
